Everything Zen and Then Some: BUSH Captivates the Fillmore Silver Spring

The Fillmore Silver Spring provided an intimate yet electric atmosphere, for BUSH’s "Loaded: The Greatest Hits Tour" tour stop at The Fillmore Silver Spring on May 13, 2025, delivered a night of nostalgic energy and raw rock intensity. Joined by rock veterans Filter, the evening was a celebration of '90s alternative rock.

Filter kicked off the night with a dynamic set that showcased their signature blend of industrial and alternative rock. Frontman Richard Patrick's vocals were as potent as ever, driving the band through a a short set of fan favorites. The setlist included "You Walk Away," "(Can't You) Trip Like I Do," "Jurassitol," "Take a Picture," "Drug Boy," "Welcome to the Fold," and "Hey Man Nice Shot."  Their performance set a high bar for the evening, energizing the crowd and setting the stage for the headliner.

Taking the stage to an enthusiastic crowd, BUSH delivered a set that spanned their illustrious career. The setlist for the Silver Spring show was loaded with some of our favorites –yes, I said our--songs like "Glycerine," "Machinehead," "Comedown," and "The Chemicals Between Us" are staples in their performances.  Gavin Rossdale's commanding presence and emotive vocals captivated the audience, reaffirming Bush's status as legends of alternative rock.
