Hands down Mac Sabbath is one of my favorite cover bands ...I mean who could look away from Ronald Osbourne, Slayer McCheese, Grimalace and The Cat Burglar?
When Tyler The Creator and Vince Staples come to your town you better check out that show!

So a week after I shot the FYF Festival in LA, I trekked up to NYC to shoot yet another 3 day festival, the 2nd annual Panorama Festival on Randall's Island. A few of the same acts were there, but who could turn down an opportunity to see A Tribe Called Quest perform their final NYC show.
Festivals are some of my favorite things to shoot --okay, well kind of! This year's FYF Festival's line up was amazeballs! The 3 day fest featured a great mix of artists--Missy Elliott, Iggy Pop, Hannibal Burress, Noname, Run The Jewels, Flying Lotus, Anderson .Paak, Bjork, Little Dragon, Seun Kuti and Egypt 80, Solange, NIN, Horse Meat Disco (who had one the best DJ sets), and more--there was a lil bit of something for everyone. I will warn you now there are a LOT of photos in this gallery (remember it was a 3 day festival)
I.M.P. Presents: The Red Hot Chili Peppers at the Verizon Center. The opening acts were Drummer Jack Irons--if you know your RHCP history, then you know that he was their first drummer. And Baby Metal, who were hand picked by RHCP for a few dates on the American Leg of the tour.
The Roots Holiday Tour w/Special Guests Rare Essence
Jeff Goldblum (yes, THAT Jeff Goldblum) and The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. My good friend Dominic copped tickets to the show because I've been wanting to catch the show for a while now. And boy I'm so glad that he did, I didn't expect the show to be so much fun. The show has Music & Movie trivia paired with Jeff's winning charisma, its definitely one you should go see if you're in the LA area.
If you're in LA on a Wednesday night and you want something fun to do this is it. Just check the Rockwell's site to make sure he's there.
The singer featured in the photos is Jazz Vocalist Angie Wells.
Brazilian Singer Seu Jorge is currently on tour reprising his character from Wes Anderson's "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou", You know the one would sing David Bowie songs in Portuguese.
